Did you know that your every-day cotton wool and makeup removal pads can’t be recycled? According to WWF, the amount of water needed to produce 1kg of cotton - which is roughly the same as one of our basic white T-Shirts - is the same amount of water one person would drink over three years. So, imagine the amount of water we waste on single-use cotton pads.

The Dachshund & Donuts print reusable makeup remover pads are made from fabric we initially bought for dog bandanas. However, the print scale was too big for our original idea, and so we decided to upcycle the fabric into something fun and environmentally friendly. Made from 100% cotton, and backed with 100% cotton towelling, these are designed to be washed and re-used.

HappiLeigh Hounds prides itself on being as eco friendly as possible in the design, manufacturing and dispatching of products. We wanted to create a way of not wasting fabric, and being as zero-waste as possible to reflect our business ethics.
